After the Addis, Sodere, Cairo, and other talks failed due to impasse, groups departed company and national interest was compromised. Puntland became the first of many autonomous states following the 1991 unilateral declaration of secession by Somaliland. In 2000, Federalsim became the only way to regroup Somalia. @sonofsomali I have been advocating abolishing the senate and creating a house of elders that comprise of all the clan elders to safeguard the administration of the state and the constitution. In such situations like this the house of elders would congregate to find a solution.

If indeed it is concluded that Sudan is being struck from Ethiopian Airbases (at the behest of the UAE) as appears to be the case. Then Sudanese Airspace should be immediately closed to Ethiopian Aircraft and Airlines. There is strategic patience and there is weakness; failure by the Sudanese Gov to adopt any formal diplomatic or economic response to strikes originating from Ethiopia will be interpreted as weakness and will lead to further belligerent escalation.
