@john4brexit Wrong you choose the wrong side, Europe is dying all the countries are arguing with eachother, there all different cultures and languages. You should have chosen the USA if Starmer hadn't of sent a pedophile and upset Trump we could of had a good trade deal by now

We all know you haven’t a clue what you talking about. Tell us how paying billions to the EU , adopting tons of red tape , adhering to expensive energy carbon policies, hammering innovation via the precautionary principle and cutting off our great trade deals will “turbo charge” the economy - you buffoon
Liberal Democrats@LibDems

We all know a closer relationship with Europe would turbocharge our economy. Yet the Prime Minister's 'fresh start' is far too weak and unambitious. It's time for a UK-EU customs union.

🚨BREAKING🚨 Keir Starmer once reclined his seat on a short-haul flight. In other news Nigel Farage has received a £5m gift, a house, helicopter flights, a Maldives trip and been accused of throwing an election for £1m. Here's Sam Coates with more on the reclined seat scandal.

@devonviews @reynardo98 @afneil "Mertz is a left wing party leader" = I'll have what you're smoking. And you've still not told me HOW the 🇪🇺 destroyed 🇩🇪 ability to grow the economy. Deliver, or sit down & "red tape" doesn't cut it.

@ThinkingSilicon @reynardo98 @afneil What part of the German chancellor telling you the EU has destroyed his country’s ability to grow its economy don’t you get! No growth, less taxes to fund roads, military, healthcare, education, social security, foreign policy. Mertz is a left wing party leader, got it yet?

Starmer has no idea that banning American speakers entering the UK for a festival of Western unity is the final nail in his coffin, patriots hate him.. I hope other political leaders have digested this & make some kind of appearance, even if it’s to see & feel the truth! #UTK 🇬🇧

@ThinkingSilicon @reynardo98 @afneil No substance, lol he’s running a country, he’s got every right to criticise the EU. Germany was once the economic powerhouse of Europe until the EU interfered in governance of his country. Bloody hell, you people are delusional.

@CirclStdios @Bitcoin_Teddy 1st rule of propaganda is accuse your enemies of what you're going to do. Trump said he was going to drain the swamp (= Trump said he would flood the swamp & swim in it with delight).

Neguse: Where is this company headquartered? Noem: I don’t know. Neguse: I don’t know either. We can’t find it. We did find an address that’s registered to a political operative. This company that received 143 million dollars was incorporated 8 days before this contract went out. You want the American people to believe that this is all above board, that $143 million of taxpayer money just happened to go to this one company that doesn't have a headquarters, doesn't have a website, has never done work for the federal government before and is registered apparently or attached to a residence from a political operative, and of course one of the subcontractors of that contract, as you know, is a political firm that's tied to, to you back when you were governor of South Dakota?

@AscendedYield It also ignores how much damage Clement Atlee's policies have done on Britain; We could be twice as wealthy as Liechtenstein, Europe's richest nation, were it not for Britain's worst PM being allowed to control Britain's economy during and after the war.

There is a damaging narrative that Labour built the welfare state in 1945 while Britain was broke, and that this somehow proves we can simply do it all again. It is historically illiterate and it is politically dangerous. Attlee's settlement was bankrolled by imperial surpluses, Marshall Aid, sterling's privileged role within Bretton Woods, capital controls that turned domestic savers into a captive bond market, and inflation that quietly torched the real debt. It sat on top of a state a fraction of today's size, financed by a young workforce, riding reconstruction productivity growth. None of that applies now. No imperial buffer. No Marshall Aid. No captive market. UK industry is under 2% of global output. The state already eats 45% of GDP. Expect this narrative to gain more traction in the coming days when people tell us we can just ignore the markets.

Just to give some flavour, the UK remains the most services-export-intensive country of any major economy in the world. Services now make up roughly 59% of the UK’s total exports and 81% of its GDP. Not only are services uniquely important for the UK in terms of export magnitudes, services exports also exhibit higher and more stable growth rates.

My longer take on UK politics - we've become addicted to simple solutions to run away from the Brexit contradictions, and they inevitably don't work causing a vicious cycle of discontent. The necessary reset must seek to make a services economy popular. ecipe.org/insights/reset…

Extraordinary story indeed. Presumably, if it's not true then Farage, Johnson & Harborne will want to sue Ben Habib for defamation to clear their names. Thevm Electoral Commission also newd to get a grip on the Harborne story and show they have some backbone.
Narinder Kaur@narindertweets

Extraordinary allegations from @benhabib6 !! Ben Habib alleges that Nigel Farage & Boris Johnson were paid £1m each by Christopher Harborne to essentially rig the election in favour of Johnson. He also claims the undeclared £5m "gift" Farage received in 2024 from Harborne was payment for Farage to take over as party leader of Reform UK and stand in Clacton.

Let's have a look at the Prime Ministers who left number 10 early over the last 10 years. 🐀David Cameron left because he didn't want to implement what the nation had just decided, despite promising he would. 🤥Teresa May left because she pretended she was going to implement what the nation decided in 2016, did her best not to, but got found out. 🔪Boris Johnson was kicked out because the Establishment feared he was going to implement what the nation decided in 2016, and had their man in No. 11 stab him in the back. 💷Liz Truss was kicked out because the Establishment didn't want her, and she was trying to implement economic policies the Establishment didn't want. ⏰️Rishi Sunak went to the country early because there was a danger Reform would win a later election and implement what the nation had decided in 2016 but the Establishment didn't want. ⚖️Keir Starmer is about to be kicked out because he was defeated by the party still trying to inplement what the nation decided in 2016. I'm sure there is a lesson in there somewhere, for the next Prime Minister, if they want last longer than the last six.

@A1an_M We voted to leave the EU and left …sorry but that was all we voted for. Boris Johnson made a bad deal because he was a rush to “get Brexit done” instead of getting the best agreement for the people of the U.K. He sold out farmers and the fishing industry to be popular.
