I'm pretty much self taught, this is what my personal finance strategy currently looks like... LISA - For house purchase, hopefully within 2yrs. 50% in moneymarket fund, 40% global and 8% sp500 & 2% gold. Plan to reduce risk each month. S&S ISA - For longer term (10yrs min) opportunities. 100% in VWRP. Workplace pension - From previous employment, in the default fund that has done surprisingly well. SIPP - Just started. Minimal deposits for now, 100% VWRP. Additional S&S ISA - For my daughter. I control it and aim is 13yrs growth then use for big expenses, driving lessons, education, business start up potentially etc. 100% VWRP Emergency fund building - Initial £1k built and in a side pot (3%). Continue to build. 5% of income stays in business as cash, although right now cash requirement is minimal. I'd welcome any thoughts, please go gentle though...this is really what I have learnt through reading and podcasts. Never had any direct advice (or overly asked for it tbh!)

A block of 10 sessions with the goal of toning up for a holiday. We’re training 3 times a week and will be £500 every 10 sessions so could be another £1000 on the way before their holiday. Have tried to come away from doing sessions myself over the last few years as I have a team too but couldn’t say no to £500 in my spare time

Just signed a new PT client. 10 sessions £500. A few years ago I’d have probably spent it on a new pair of trainers, clothes, or something I didn’t really need. Today £300 is going straight into my portfolio. The goal isn’t to look wealthy. The goal is to become wealthy 🙌🏼

Name one thing a 24-year-old should own before turning 30. I'll go first: a house they can eventually flip into a rental property and generate cashflow

Couple of invoices paid yesterday, tax deducted and then 10% of each saved / invested before anything else. PAY YOURSELF FIRST!! Being self employed and nature of my work, I save and invest money from each invoice paid. It works for me and I love the process tbh!!
