I’ve been super quiet on here (everywhere) lately… But today I pressed ‘submit’ on my MSc dissertation! A strange feeling of nerves, excitement and relief. Now the wait for results begins.

Also a huge shoutout to my tutor @JFitzAcademical for the support, help and guidance through the video calls when at least one of us had a microphone/speaker failure every single time!

@WestMidRailway my way to Birmingham New Street. Now I see you have problems there as well. When eventually get home and claim for delay, do I put in the full journey (LIV > WOS) or the part journey?

@WestMidRailway I was due to leave Liverpool Lime Street at 10.33 this morning, but my connecting train (Smethwick Galton Bridge > WOS) was cancelled, so I caught the 11.33 one & now my connecting train has been cancelled again. Fortunately I checked before getting off at Smethwick, so now on

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow My mum’s has increased from £230 to over £350 no claims or anything, limited mileage 3000. Her car is only valued at £650! 3rd party and 3rd PF&T quotes coming in at over £450. Insane.

@UK_Engineer_Mat @Oxfordite @Dr_Done_ Hi. Pharmacy technicians are registered and regulated by the GPhC. We are not “assistants to” pharmacists, who in turn are not “assistants to” doctors. We each have our own defined roles. We are not failed doctors/G.P receptionists as portrayed in this clip. Hope that helps.

Roles are expanding, which is great, but if I wanted to be a pharmacist, I’d do a pharmacy degree. @xxsnzz My dad asked a jr doc how long he’d need ‘emergency’ nephrostomy tubes in for and was told “forever, bcus of the cancer, it’s terminal”. There had been no previous mention of cancer AT ALL. 4 months later, he was gone.

Everyone in healthcare - read this article until the end. Your comments may not seem relevant but look at it from the patients point of view. Look at what happens when people don’t get clear communication - which there is no excuse for. We need to do better.

@easyhotels double digits now for the number of faulty fire alarms going off throughout the entire night. I’m going to need a refund and compensation to pay a therapist given that I’m now in a full blown ptsd episode. I wish I was joking.
