@jonlear4578 Would say they probably weren’t worth keeping after their performances this season but fully understand your point and unless takeover happens soon, full of dread with you!

@ThisIsTranmere Do you think we let them go or couldnt afford to keep them? Only ones who have stayed are those under contract. I have a deep feeling of dread for what will happen over the next few weeks.

Anyone you’d have kept or right to let them go? Feel like a new start is needed for both club and players in question

The Club can confirm that Pete Wild and Adam Temple have left the Club following the end of their short-term contracts. Pete and Adam joined Rovers on an interim basis as Manager and Assistant Manager in March and achieved their aim of keeping the Club in League Two. We thank them both for their hard work in their time at the Club and wish them the best of luck for the future.  The process of appointing a new manager is already underway.

OTD 1963 | Ian Muir Was Born Happy birthday to Tranmere Rovers legend and club all-time leading goalscorer, Ian Muir. He signed from Brighton in 1985 and played 393 games for TRFC before joining Birmingham in 1995, scoring 180 goals - a record unlikely ever to beaten.

Well… we stayed up. It’s been a long and pretty miserable season. Again. We can only hope there are brighter days, weeks, months and years ahead. Support yesterday was unbelievable. The SWA is strong. Now we need a team to match us.
