I’ve now spent a decade in crypto. Like many of you, I’m left with an uncomfortable awareness of the gap between what we’ve been (a dark-web Black Mirror inside joke), and what we aspire to be…what brought us here in the first place: a revolutionary technology that improves the lives of everyday people. Those scars will now go into three connected bets: 1. Media you can trust: Crypto badly needs content that’s entertaining, educational, and honest. So I’m returning to media, this time with my full focus on building @ThisWkInCrypto (formerly allmight_US) into a flagship show for this industry. TWIC was a social-native show before TBPN existed, and crypto deserves its own unique version, done right. 2. Rails for a brighter future: I’m also reuniting with the former Kik Messenger team to help consult on @flipcash. I believe it’s the right product at the right time: a first-principles rebuild of the crypto user experience that everyday consumers can actually grasp. I’m done with the 4chan trench era. But owning a piece of an idea or a community is still an important innovation, and I believe Flipcash will be the tool that makes it real, on Solana, without the dystopian casino. 3. A token experiment: The time has come to show the world what a serious token should look like. I’m putting everything I’ve learned into a different kind of token design. This is the culmination of ten years of experience, including and especially the failures of Kin, which I watched and experienced firsthand from the inside. If it works, it can act as a blueprint for the mainstream era: real use, fundamental value. If it doesn’t…I’ll be the first to say so. More soon. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
