@samijaber_ I also heard Devin's button padding management is quite good. Best to stay ahead of the curve.

Just looked at GSC and just learned that my most popular blog post is about recognizing cats using deep learning. Internet will never change. tlbvr.com/blog/deep-lear…

@samijaber_ I think there is a re-release in December for the anniversary. Don't know which theater will play it though.

@thomlbvr have you tried being broke? I find that it takes away a lot of the anxiety related to your bank account getting hacked.

I'm always paranoid when I log in to my bank. I always put fake credentials first, then I check the SSL certificate...it's exhausting.

More and more convinced local-first is the way to go for building apps. However, it's hard to decide on a library and tradeoffs are not clear. There are too many options out there. Need @tannerlinsley magic touch? Tanstack sync when?

$16/mo for @MKBHD iPhone wallpapers. Can we stop with the ridiculous subscription software? Remember the 99¢ app?

@OliverJAsh I get this often when a problem is presented and someone needs help. 90% of the time, I'll jump on it but 10% I'll start writing then decide someone else should handle it this one time. I think this helps naturally delegate and people taking ownership.

Sometimes I'll write a reply to something and then before sending it I realise it's not worth it, so instead of sending it I just delete it. It tricks my brain into thinking that I've responded. Writing helps me to clarify my thoughts, but that's all I needed.

This is the first time I've seen this used in production - really neat technique! The new Stripe dev site uses a single grid layout of 24 columns and then uses subgrid nested 5-6 levels deep for all its layout.

@thomlbvr I love this trick! so many times I've wanted to "break out" of the max-width of a section, and this makes that very easy
