@SeneddWaste Similar free childcare is available to parents in England. It was introduced by Sunak’s Government. Welsh Government will have be receiving the consequential funding for this child care since 2024 and are still receiving it. So its already funded!

@ThomaDave This is not a real concern. There are vast numbers of people in this country who go by names that don't match their birth certificate exactly. Nobody has ever considered these to be "false names", including you. You are only pretending to because you don't like his politics.

@MadocRoberts People want politicians who have integrity and honesty. Rhun’s parents named him Rhun Jones and thats the name on his birth certificate. Its easy to draw a line under this, publish a copy of his name change certificate.

There have been lots of posts about Rhun ap Iorwerth's name recently. Why don't all British people know about this form of tradional Welsh name? These people who attack Rhun's name often call themselves patriots but ignorance of British culture is not something to be proud of.

@Rhae_Storm @SeneddWaste Nothing at all to do with Councillors who have no responsibility for choosing a persons name. That responsibility lies entirely with the parents. The registrar will register the birth name the parents request.

@ab_wxm He was born and registered as Rhun Jones, that was and, maybe still is, Jones. Legally his parents could have used any name they liked and there would be nothing the hospital or registrar could do about it, but they chose to use Jones, so that remains his birth name.

@NationCymru My children work 10 miles away on the Eastern side of Swansea. We live on the Western side of the city. To get to work by bus, it would take close to 2 hours on two busses operated by different companies. By car, its 30 to 35 minutes.

@Plaid_Cymru Plaid know that there is no £4BN owed to Wales for HS2, because rail is not devolved to Wales so all rail investments are England and Wales spend. However they assume the Welsh electorate are not bright enough to realise they are telling blatant lies.
