There's a very specific type of person that needs to hear this: When I was in college I thought I was too dumb to work at SpaceX. According to my friends, that was an absurd belief, but I believed it anyway. The truth is, I was exactly what SpaceX was looking for - a builder. You could always find me in our rocket club's lab, putting the final touches on avionics code that had to work for tomorrow's launch. Outside of the lab, I was always tinkering with something - from building games on my laptop, to questionable quadcopter experiments in my parents' basement. It was, and still is, a bit obsessive at times. If you're a tinkerer, a builder, a serial project starter, but ultimately someone that gets stuff done - then you're exactly who we need. @BernieSanders I don’t know how an adult doesn’t understand the concept that we could raise minimum wage to $47 or a $100 an hour, and everything would very quickly jump up to gobble up the extra money. The problem is that the money goes way less than It used to due to inflation.

Yesterday Donald Trump did 15 minutes of work at McDonald’s, where tens of thousands of employees earn starvation wages. But when asked whether we need to raise the $7.25 minimum wage, he refused to comment. I will comment. We need to raise the federal minimum wage to $17/hr.

@tryangle @Tesla I had always wanted to get into forging and did grade 12 metalwork in high school, but they wouldn’t let us do any “weapons” for obvious reasons 😂

@tryangle @Tesla Yeah, that would be really cool. Obviously, they’ve probably preferred strength over hardness in their steel as it is more applicable for the use purpose, but I’m sure you could tie it in someway. I think it’s their own proprietary blend. They call it 30X. 🧵
