@AlysColeKing@AnneCooke14 Even people working in care services have this way of thinking, it’s demoralising. The last thing inpatients need is being demoralised. All it takes is people being more aware and changing emphasis.
Imagine if we stoped using the term ‘bed blocker’ but instead saw people desperate to leave acute hospital beds but who were prevented by lack of provision or basic care services.
A simple change of emphasis…
