Are you interested in metabolic analysis of agri-food chains or in systemic vulnerabilities? Are you looking for a PhD project? If yes, please consider applying to our PhD fellowship. Our call for application is still open at jobs.inrae.fr/ot-16279

Hi Twitter, I propose a PhD fellowship about the metabolic vulnerabilities of agri-food chains (with special focus on livestock) If you're interested in how agri-food chains are embedded in their surrounding and how they are vulnerable to shocks, apply! jobs.inrae.fr/en/ot-14764

Grosse fatigue.

Happy to share that our new article on avenues for research questions about soils in organic agriculture is out: afes.fr/wp-content/upl…. It's all about C, N and P cycles, biological interactions, long-terms effects of cropping practices, soil protection and soil diagnosis!

Last Thursday, I presented some results during a farm visit organized by Agrobio35 🌱 So proud to see my pictures being published in the local newspaper to promote this event 🤩

The near-real-time global gridded daily CO2 emissions dataset (GRACED) provides gridded CO2 emissions at a 0.1degree*0.1degree spatial resolution and 1-day temporal resolution carbonmonitor-graced.com

Feed use by livestock globally. Panel a is total feed, panel b is the breakdown by human food competing feedstuffs. 🐄🐂 consume the most feed - more animal mass to support & they are ruminants is why; however, they are more minor competitors with human food compared to 🐓🦃🐖

@ThomasNesme @ciais_philippe The rise in CH4 has been captured by ICOS sites in northern Europe, perhaps we can use the backward trajectory to calculate emissions.
