One of our classmates wrote an amazing persuasive piece about therapy dogs in schools. I knew I had to arrange a visit before the end of the year! Within minutes of sharing the writing with @mtamediacenter, we were connected with @FrankieandAndy 🐶🐾

Got in some steps with running club today! They were zooming around the track 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏾🏃🏼‍♀️ I loved seeing these kiddos in their element on such a beautiful day! They even let my own kiddo join them 🥹

We LOVED our trip to see @branchtheatreco perform Little Mermaid 🧜🏻‍♀️🧜 This was the first HS production some of our students had ever seen (#pandemickids). They were totally fascinated & in awe of the whole thing! Amazing! An added bonus— seeing lots of former MTA Marlins! 🤍

Had the absolute honor of spending the last two days soaking up every word this magnificent author/teacher/educator/dreamer/creator said! Mrs. Lola Schaefer reminded me in her most eloquent and beautiful way that teaching is truly an art. Thank you @mtamediacenter for this!

If teachers and school staff only did what they are contracted to do and ONLY worked the hours that they are paid to work— every school would have to shut down because it wouldn’t be able to function.
