@SmudgerOfSodor We replaced steam engines, yet they remain. In art, song, stories, museums, and heritage lines where they still run to this day. Not diesels though. We are not as celebrated. Preservation is spotty. The steam engine is as immortal as any machine can be. We are disposable.
