I built this app for Mac. This recording is from Slack. After typing anything, if I add a shortcut, in this case "fxx", at the end of the text, it automatically fixes grammar mistakes and typos in what I typed. It works anywhere you type on macOS. This uses Apple Intelligence, so it's completely free and runs on-device. Right now, it does not work well with large blocks of text. At first, I thought about making corrections happen while the user is typing, but that could cause performance issues. It also tries to complete random thoughts if the user pauses in the middle of a sentence. So I decided it’s better to trigger it with a shortcut instead.

I want to build an app that automatically fixes typos and grammar as you type. You can choose which apps it works in, like Teams, Slack, X, and others. No copy-pasting or button clicking needed. It shouldn't even have a UI, it should work automatically in the background. The reason I want to build this is that I tend to skip words while typing, even though I have the right sentence in my mind. I also make a lot of typos. My OCD won't let me ignore them, so I always end up going back to fix them, which is extra work every time. I want an app that solves this completely. The plan is to use on-device AI to keep it free to use. Not sure how well it will work yet, but I'll explore it soon.

Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Arlekar turned down TVK chief Vijay’s proposal to form the government for the second consecutive day. Vijay met the Governor again today at Raj Bhavan to stake claim to form the government, but the Governor asked him to return only after securing the support of 118 MLAs, sources said.
