Shift A live fire training at the Fire Training Facility 🚒

New CFD recruits have been completing live burns at the Fire Training Facility. Live burn practice for firefighters is a training exercise that involves intentionally setting fire in a structure, called a "burn building", to simulate a real-life fire incident.

Today we are at Coastal Carolina University for the Prepareathon, talking with students and staff about emergency preparedness. This is a great reminder as there is potential for severe weather in the coming hours. You can find information here - hurricane.sc
