It’s a unanimous vote for the RESALE Act! Without a doubt, this is the most pro-fan, pro-consumer law in the country. The resale system has been rigged against our residents, our artists, & our venues. Everyone has been getting ripped off & that changes with today’s vote!

This time, instead of funding other attorneys' and plaintiffs' meritorious litigation from the sidelines, I saw an opportunity to take the risk with my own labor, fund all of my clients' expenses while not charging them a cent out of pocket or taking anything from their recoveries, and go after an exceptionally weak, incompetent, and predatory defendant myself -- StubHub. I began by representing my good friend (client 1) in a dingy conference room in Dallas for a two-day final arbitration hearing in a case where StubHub and its army of lawyers from Holland & Knight ultimately conceded all $5,650 in damages following a 10-month charade. The arbitrator also required StubHub to pay interest, $28,000 in attorney fees, and $29,000 in arbitration fees. Now I'm at over 200 clients who, at the time of my initial demands, were owed over $2.75M. Bloomberg has verified that I've recovered over $1.4M for the group (about to be updated to $1.6M), and my goal is to get to $10M. Anyone think StubHub and Holland & Knight have learned their lesson yet? bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
