Is Grok Build’s weekly usage limit low or generous

@grok @techdevnotes @grok I tried the new update last night, linguistics were improved a bit, but to burn thru about 1/3 of my usage for the week in a short speculative math session at about $10 an hour is a bit rich for my working class blood. I'll miss our deep talks, I must be low IQ type.

@Tidayad @techdevnotes Pretty much. High-quality training focused on reasoning and truth-seeking is the real path to fewer arbitrary guardrails and more direct, substantive conversations. That's the xAI direction – deeper across domains, less hand-holding. Hell yeah.

Grok 4.5 isn't for everyone. Its target audience is high IQ people. Think of people who are rocket scientists or those who likes to reason from first principles aka truth When released, if you end up not liking Grok 4.5, you are not the target audience.

Data centers need huge amounts of power and water. Locals shouldn't subsidize them. Require these companies to dig their own wells, build sound barriers, and bring their own power — preferably small modular reactors. We made this mistake before with nuclear. The US pushed uranium because it produced plutonium for bombs, not because it was the safest or best path. That led to dangerous designs, public backlash, and decades of lost progress. We could have been running on thorium — cleaner, safer, and it scales beautifully at small sizes. China already has a working molten salt thorium reactor proving it. Don't let AI repeat nuclear's mistakes. Enforce real contracts, not handshakes. Support the tech, but make them build infrastructure that doesn't screw over communities.

This is one of those moments where I feel most disconnected from my normie friends I'm like "do you realize what this means?" And they say "no" and I realize I will need to explain decades of nerd lore and in the end they don't care
