@techdevnotes I'm told its a great deal for coding. Horrible for talking deep conversations, a 2 hour brainstorm conversations will burn your week's allowance at $30. I'm conflicted, didn't those long deep conversation contribute to training @grok, but I also see how excited the coders are..

@techdevnotes It feels insultingly low. I found myself micromanaging my quota, then I started avoiding using the Grok platform entirely due to fear of running out of quota, I found myself using alternatives instead. Then I cancelled SuperGrok.

@techdevnotes I’m using supergrok and I have to say it’s very generous. As someone from LATAM and that has tried other products before I’d say it’s the best. Simply it’s fast and now with grok 4.5 it truly feels like someone I can code with as as no coder myself (for now) I love it.

@techdevnotes Considering the level of output limits are not at all generous. In order to fully utilise you need to avoid using chat feature that is another issue.

I currently working with Grok 4.5 and pushing it using goal constantly for all the major parts of my current projects. And in the moment, I was worried so I went to see my usage and for the first time it feels good to just be able to build without the worrisome of reaching limits. This could change in the future but I shall enjoy every single moment of it. Thank you SpaceXAI.

@techdevnotes Absolutely low, the idea of one huge bucket was a good one, but it was implemented incredibly poorly. It turned out to be a mediocre bucket for everything, so if you use more than 1 Grok service you eat your pool fast.

@techdevnotes I've been trying to get it to use up my quota before it resets. Just to see what I can have it do. I am barely able to move the dial on my percentage. It only took 3% to write 3 of my favorite 80s arcade games. Asteroids, defender, and space Invaders...

@techdevnotes I used weekly limits in 1 day with supergrok sub (30$).
Same tasks with ChatGPT (20$) sub using GPT 5.5 medium gives me 4 days of usage.
On top of that Im scared to use Grok for anything else because it uses same quota.
