Controlling the means which they can get a good or service, and using this to control the price and profits. Steam is one option of many and has mostly pro consumer features. Not a monopoly.

Epic is, at any time, free to spend money to update their storefront to be just as good as if not better than steam to coax customers over. But they choose not to.

They don't hold gog down and say "you can't work like we do". They don't tell the customer "it's us or nobody". They offer the best service. Compete or lose.

There SHOULD be a level of respect, but if you can't take harmless things on the chin, and you take it out on others, it's poor judgement. Reflects badly.
