Close down Labour Friends of Israel. It is an undemocratic, unaccountable lobby organisation embedded in The Labour Party and the UK government. Its primary function is to silence support for the Palestinian people in politics, culture, higher education and in every sphere of public life in Britain. Its mission statement - displayed at every one of its conventions - is to advocate for a two state solution. This is an egregious deception for Labour Friends of Israel and every one of its compromised members have remained silent as Gaza has been obliterated before our eyes, while the West Bank and East Jerusalem are being systematically ethnically cleansed of Palestinians. In this fantasy two state solution where in the world does @_LFI envisage a Palestinian state to be? Hotovely who has repeatedly said that there will never be a two state solution, who said that Palestinians have no history, who associates with fascist organisations such as Lehava who support the killing of all Arabs, who said that there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza, who justifies the total destruction of Gaza and who justifies illegal settlements in the West Bank. This is who Labour Friends of Israel are really in step with ideologically. Like Hotovely, Labour Friends of Israel are racists who have hijacked The Labour Party. And just look at the number of prominent Labour MPs and Labour Friends of Israel members who lined up to have their photo taken with Hotovely. The same corrupt Labour MPs who are calling @ZackPolanski and @TheGreenParty extremists. Labour Friends of Israel MPs, aspiring MPs and members regularly visit Israel on funded trips. Do they meet with Israeli officials who also seek a two-state solution? It wouldn’t appear so. Instead, these MPs meet with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, a man whose every utterance echos the views of Tzipi Hotovely. Isaac Herzog who was photographed autographing rockets destined to blow up men, women and children in Gaza, who has said that “there are no innocent civilians in Gaza,” and who is an indicted war criminal at the International Court of Justice. And just as Labour Friends of Israel members were more than happy to be photographed with Tzipi Hotovely so they are delighted to be photographed with Isaac Herzog. So much for being seen with people who advocate for a two-state solution. Labour Friends of Israel instead fraternise with Israeli officials who want to see the complete destruction of Palestine and the removal - by whatever means necessary - of the Palestinian people from Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Labour Friends of Israel are fully complicit in these aims despite their fraudulent appearances to the contrary.
