Together with our allies, we condemn in the strongest terms recent attacks by Iran on unarmed commercial vessels in the Gulf, attacks on civilian infrastructure including oil and gas installations, and the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iranian forces.

Clear catch of an Iranian cluster ballistic missile fired towards civilian areas in Israel overnight

The senior advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Anwar Gargash, told Bloomberg: "Iran made a mistake when it attacked the UAE and other countries in the Persian Gulf — it brings them closer to Israel and the United States. For countries that have relations with Israel, those relations will grow stronger. For countries that do not have relations, I expect additional channels to open."

A couple in their 70s were killed by a cluster bomb impact in Ramat Gan amid an Iranian ballistic missile attack on central Israel overnight, medics say. Two others were lightly injured at two other impact sites, according to Magen David Adom.
