Detroit Tigers Community Impact

The Tigers and Tigers Foundation hosted the Positive Coaches Alliance and DPSCD this past Friday. Student-athletes and coaches visited Comerica Park for a tour and a presentation on how to be great teammates and cope with the stress that comes with being a student-athlete.

.@MLB, UEPA and the Detroit Tigers Foundation presented a $125,000 donation to the Dominican Republic Red Cross before the exhibition series between the DR National Team and the Tigers this past week as a tribute to the victims of the tragedy at the Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo. The series marked the first time in history that the Dominican National Team hosted a Major League Club for exhibition games, providing a unique stage for this special tribute and landmark moment for the sport in the Caribbean.

Over the weekend, 90 kids showed up to TigerTown to participate in a fun and energetic clinic. Kids received giveaways and participated in Tigers trivia to win prizes!
