My journey :
I’m from a lower middle class family with many responsibilities when I started my career.
2012 : BTech completed and started career
2013 : cleared couple of gold loans and other minor family debts.
2014: Took decision to switch organisation as I got better opportunity. Started first step from Investment standpoint and opened PPF account @ SBI with monthly SIP of 5000/-
2015: Worked really hard and invested in
a plot (far from Hyderabad and one bad move due to limited Realestate knowledge).
2016: Another switch and this time Joined in top 4 consulting firm. Life changed and worked really hard to achieve higher positions and it’s kind of life changing journey. Learnt new skills and worked almost 24*7. Took traditional LIC and other endowment policies due to family / relatives pressure (one more bad move 😂). Also started investing in mutual fund (SBI Bluechip fund and its regular one)
2017: Dream house construction started at my hometown and it’s a lifetime gift to my aged parents. They are extremely happy as they are not willing to relocate to other locations and want to spend rest of life there. I’m aligned with their decision and completed my house in 3 years. (40% from my savings and 60% house loan).
Redeemed my Mutual fund units in 2019 and closed couple of FD’s for house construction.
2020: L1 visa got approved and about to travel but COVID played cameo role and changed my life. Switched to another product based organisation and work from home this time. WFH that to from home town (it’s a village in Konaseema, Andhra Pradesh) .. more savings 😃
2021- Marriage
2022 - Sold plot which I bought in 2015 (luckily got 2X returns) and managed to close my first House loan. (Debt free and I’m the most happiest person)
Also booked a 3 BHk flat in gated community (Tier 1 builder) and possession is in 2024. Took another Home loan (EMI < 30% of salary)
~ Took both health and term insurance policies (it’s bit late but not life time late)
2023- Surrendered couple of insurance policies which I’ve taken in my initial days of career
Also started Investment in Mutual funds with 15k SIP.
2024 - As usual working hard and learning new things. Multiple stepup SIP’s and it’s turned 75k SIP.
Flat registration done.
2025- Blessed with baby boy and Increased my SIP to 85k. Also created another portfolio (25k) for my baby boy.
It’s my journey with lot of struggles and great memories too. Now I’m in a mission to reach multiple targets. My age is 34 and want to be financially free in next 5-10 years.
Investing with passion - working hard - living with values.

మన తెలుగు యువత కి మళ్ళీ చెప్తున్నాను ..
Insurance policy is not an investment option.
Think twice before you take any policy.
మీ కెరీర్ ప్రారంభించిన వెంటనే మీరు చెయ్యాల్సిన పనులు
✔️ Health insurance policy with good sum insured and riders - you can visit aggregator sites like Policy Bazaar, Ditto, Beshak or reach out to any trust worthy agent. It’s upto you
✔️ Term Insurance with good life cover
✔️ Emergency fund (6 months or 12 months of your salary - it’s upto you)
Once above things are in place then think about proper investment.
✔️My recommendation is “Mutual Funds” in the initial journey than stock picking.
✔️ PPF, NPS are also good options.
