My passport, will expire in July.
I've had to go to the SA embassy here in China to apply for a new one.
Generally, it is advised to apply for the renewal at least 8 MONTHS in advance.
Not knowing this has led me to pay quite a hefty amount to ensure that the process is expedited from back home.
When my passport returns, I'm supposed to go to the Chinese Migration office to have a new visa stamped on it.
Then I need to go to the police station to redeclare my residential address.
There are few other steps that I have to fulfill to ensure that my new passport reflects on every system I use here in China.
One thing I've noticed, even from other foreigners from other African countries who are here, they carry this panic feeling whenever they have to renew their visas...
It's a stressful and rigorous process.
I've met quite a number of them who are here on study Visas. If they miss a couple of classes, they are in trouble. Because what else are you doing besides being a student?
THIS is a result of an EFFECIENT immigration control system.
If you are found to have overstayed your welcome, you are deported with no discussions, no protests, no negotiations or greasing of the palms...
You HAVE to go!
Meanwhile in my home country...

@ntsikimazwai I believe you, you'll only block them and keep it moving 🤣
English

@DavidHundeyin Wait until you find out that "weird Afrophobia thing" is not even a thing in SA.
We coexist with our LEGALLY visiting African brothers & sisters this side.
Those who are complaining usually are law breakers.
English

@willyNgendahayo @CyrilRamaphosa This is just a small family issue please, focus on your own country.
English

@CyrilRamaphosa am not from SA but you are a failure. your country is full mobs who terrorize foreign citizens with endless destruction and protests. SA deserves good leadership. maybe it is time, you guys vote for a white person to see how he will do !

I therefore respectfully want to make it clear that I will not resign.
To do so would be to pre-empt a process defined by the Constitution.
To do so would be to give credence to a panel report that unfortunately has grave flaws.
To do so would be to abdicate the responsibility that I assumed when I became President of the Republic.
To resign now would be to give in to those who seek to reverse the renewal of our society, the rebuilding of our institutions and the prosecution of corruption.

@Newzroom405 He's now moved on from chasing pastors. Why are they even giving this idiot airtime?
English

@Triciakoki Ey, they are so mad fighting even the airport staff wanting to come to a "xenophobic" country 😂
English

@KB_Peterson92 @ntsikimazwai Ey, we're going through the most 🤣
English

@ntsikimazwai It is hard being south African..are we groupies to Americans, coz they themselves call us unpleasant and fucked up blacks in Africa...are we killing white people?? Or we love them so much that we want foreigners to go and not them..

@Sinawo_Thambo You could have just just stayed offline today, that would have been okay.

It is strange that there are people who are offended by the doubts and questions regarding Mazwi Khubeka’s disappearance.
This is the norm created on these platforms when it comes to the disappearance of young girls.
When young girls are presumed missing and it is publicised on social media platforms, the first instinct is always to create doubt, presume that they are with a man and engaged in sexual activities.
No one cares to wonder that perhaps these young girls are in abusive relationships, that they are being kept by their so-called boyfriends through manipulation or abuse.
When these young girls return two or three days later, everyone demands an update because we have invested energy in their story, and then you shame these young girls without knowing the context of their disappearance.
Check yourselves, because the timeline is continuing with the same doubt you perpetuate on young women when they are reported missing.

Don’t you just love the sudden political grandstanding by some politicians in the Mazwi case? Amazing how quickly they appear when cameras are rolling and headlines are waiting.
Where were most of them when Mazwi was missing? Where was the urgency, the outrage, the concern for the family, and the boots on the ground when it actually mattered?
Funny how some people only discover compassion after the fact.
Oh yes… elections later this year!!

A family in Limpopo is living through every parent’s worst nightmare. Two-year-old Omphile Sethole was kidnapped from her bed in Ga-Mabuela village in the early hours of this morning, Saturday, 2 May 2026.
At around 2:00 AM, Omphile's grandmother took the toddler with her to the bathroom before they both went back to sleep. When the grandmother woke up again at 6:00 AM, Omphile was gone. A window in the room had been forced open.
Neighbours and family members flooded the area to search, but little Omphile is still missing.
■ What She Was Wearing:
□ A pink jersey
□ Black tights
Limpopo Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has mobilised all available resources to find her. But the police need OUR help.
Look at her description. Think back to this morning. Did you see anything suspicious in the Ga-Mabuela area? No detail is too small when it comes to saving a child.
