@WifeDirtyTesla I think that where you are in the US has a lot to do with FSD performance. Here in LA the car performs great. Few interventions for anything but nav issues. But I was just in Ballard, WA (suburb near Seattle), the car seemed confused by so many things. I intervened many times.

Serious phantom brake on 14.3.3 today. Do you guys see a reason for braking that I don't? I disengaged out of frustration, worried it would happen again. I've built up some tolerance from what Chris put me through in the early days, but we aren't in beta anymore, and I expected more honestly. I have high hopes that Tesla AI will polish this up soon, but we aren't there yet.

@DevinOlsenn Kind of seems like a quick patch. Hopefully something better designed and useful will be included in the next point release.

New Intervention Screen on FSD V14.3.2 (SW2026.2.9.9) I sat in the car for ~5 minutes and the menu did not go away on its own, so besides adding Navigation the menu and the way it behaves feels unchanged. Let me know what you all think of it.

Tesla FSD V14.3.1 saves another squirrel ✅ It’s incredible how good FSD has gotten with detecting and slowing down for small animals. I know there’s some people that apparently would rather run over a squirrel than have to slow down, but I personally think this behaviour is great. What do you all think, is it good or bad that FSD slows down for squirrels and other small animals?

@DevinOlsenn @pbeisel I agree with you Devin. I don’t feel safe when it’s speeding 15-20 over the speed limit. I mostly use MadMax to move through heavy traffic in LA.

@pbeisel A good reaction time doesn't mean anything if it's tailgating at 85MPH and the car infront of it slams on the brakes. Physics do not descriminate - FSD isn't going to be able to stop on a dime if it's speeding and driving as close as it does to the lead car.

An autonomous car should be the SAFEST car on the road - not the fastest. I 1000% agree with this post, and strongly disagree with everyone here blaming you or telling you to change the speed profile. There should not be a profile that speeds as much as Mad Max does. I can understand a profile that is assertive and makes lane changes - but no speed profile should ever go fast enough to get a reckless driving ticket, and currently Mad Max does do that. "bUt tHEres OTheR SpEeD ProFiles!!!1" Drive manually if you want to break the law and drive agressively.
