A bit of progress on the bg3 character preset mod. Now me and my friends can create our characters before our sessions instead of taking the first hour to do so lol After ui improvements and squashing a couple bugs I'll release for ze world lol

Seems arbitrary to not let them also create pvt customs. Not everyone does it, and the load should offset?

@ZeroFusion0_Pv Coming from a backend developer, giving all hundreds of millions of Fortnite players access to their own servers would be burning tons of compute and money, each BR game runs on a server, which there are a limited number of, which is why they’re limited to only creators🫠

I'm saying it again, but this is literally playground/ Battle Lab/Creative Royale. And those were for everyone, not just creators. So I do hope custom matches are now enabled for everyone since your removed all three of them.

With #Fortnite v40.20, despite the patch notes saying they fixed Port-A-Bunkers and Shield Bubbles appearing in Ranked Zero Build (despite them previously being enabled), but instead this actually completely REMOVED from the Loot Pool. @FortniteStatus @Hogman @EpicTofuChris

Today’s the 30th anniversary of RATM’S um, ‘memorable’ performance on SNL. There was a fight onstage between our crew and SNL stage hands moments before our performance, wrestling over some upside down American flags which adorned our amps. Timmy C then attacked host/billionarie/presidential candidate Steve Forbes’ family in the dressing room with a wadded up flag. Secret Service flooded the hallways. SNL cut (censored?) our second song and kicked us out onto the sidewalk. Evil Empire entered the Billboard Album Chart at #1.

Couldn't literally say it better myself. Them doing it in the way Tim prefers and reportedly does, (deleting less priority bugs/issues) it's a shot in the foot as on one hand it looks good that we’re adding so many things new but yet collectively the tiny issues and bugs adds up in the end and slowly gets worse as seasons go on. You cannot run a game like this and expect people not to complain that it’s not optimized 😭

@xTHE_FALLx @Dublicus This is literally how all studios process bugs. Deleting buckets is weird, but If you have a live service title, and new content drops often it's the nature of the beast. You fix 1 bug, 2 new are introduced. There are no bug free games.

@Dublicus Exactly! After they fix bugs why wouldn’t they just reprioritize the next set of bugs and continue chopping away at them? With code unfixed bugs will just create more bugs. We all know Fortnite just copy and pastes code anyways.

I’m terribly sorry to my players. This honestly breaks my heart to have to do this... I’ve made the decision to unpublish all of my projects currently. I was hit with another botting attack this morning, and at this point it’s the only way to stop my metrics from being destroyed further. I’m not going to sit here and watch projects get attacked because there’s no way to block new accounts or detect this behavior properly. Creators need tools to protect themselves. Even something as simple as limiting brand new accounts or filtering metrics like other platforms already do. If this can happen at my scale, it’s happening everywhere. This isn’t sustainable, and it’s not healthy for the future of Fortnite or UEFN if it keeps going unchecked. @FNCreate @TimSweeneyEpic @JustTeddii

The problem with these quick bot spikes, is that they tank your metrics for the algorythm which leads to less exposure and thus an empty island.

@pac33133 @Rebel_FNC @duos_with_dad @FNCreate Nope, you get payed as players buy actuall ingame stuff also how people engage is a more important number then the amount of people people playing plus these wont turn into followers, so he might get a few hunderd now on paper but will lose much more real players in the future

Hey @FNCreate, Do I need to unpublish my project to avoid my metrics getting tanked further, or is this something you can step in and handle? Can anything be done on your end, like limiting or blocking newly created accounts from joining? Someone is actively botting my project right now as an attack after I spoke out. Hate to tag you again, @TimSweeneyEpic , but I’ve already had to cancel my promotion campaign this weekend because of this. Favorites per 1000 are down over 50%, and session time is down 25%+. If this is happening at my scale, imagine the level of metric manipulation happening on larger projects.
