What part of this statement is misleading?
Contrary to popular Twitter/X belief, there must be evidence to support a possible motive, that often comes after searches, searching devices, interviews etc.
Only when or if evidence is found will it be deemed political or terrorism.
In a fast-paced investigation, I would say they have come on leaps and bounds in a few days. Sadly, much of the media wants to incite problems and cause tension.

1/ The way Devon and Cornwall Constabulary are getting crucified on here is profoundly unfair. In the first press conference on the matter they literally said that they had no evidence of a terrorist link *at that time* but "we're keeping an open mind". Policing works on evidence

I remember reading only a short time ago that the wonderful Sam Neil was looking forward to start work on new projects.
His role of Dr Alan Grant in Jurassic Park was both iconic and unforgettable.
Thinking of his friends, family and loved ones at this incredibly sad time. 🦕🎬

A man gets into a car with a stick, drives hundreds of miles to brutally murder the beloved elderly matriarch of Reform UK.
The authorities offer no information, but if you ask questions they admonish you for “speculating”.
Reform MPs demanding security from the state are told to shut up and be grateful that “the police know where their house is” and the “direct telephone number to the police” to call if someone tries to murder them.
Reveal that the Speaker of the House has totally ignored letters from Reform MPs about their safety and he briefs the press that he’s “furious”, while failing to deny this.
If you go to lay flowers in memory of your friend you are “politicising” her murder.
If you push back against any of this, you are hounded to the ends of the earth by the Times, the Telegraph, the Daily Mail, the Guardian, the Mirror, and hundreds of crazed leftists online.
These, apparently, are the new rules for Nigel, for Reform MPs and all those in our movement.
None of it will deter us.
We will fight on.
For Ann.

Nigel didn't just go and lay flowers though, did he, Zia? He went to a spot miles from Ann's house. He informed the press. He stood in his pose, nodded to check the press were ready... then he laid flowers. Those are not the actions of an authentic human being grieving a friend.

The man hasn't even been charged yet, and already you lot have found him guilty.
