Major blunder on my part today. Completely forgot I was meeting friends tonight. Only picked up their messages having strolled home. Too late for me to make it. I can be a complete fuckwit at times. I hate it; loathe messing up like that; letting folk down.

Sorry for being bleak. I hate it, I really do. Wish I could function properly.

Plus I've still got this low level virus. The tests say not Covid, but it stubbornly refuses to shift. Enough to make me feel under weather/know it's there. Which stops one crucial (to me) part of my life/support structure. Combined, I'm left glumly hiding.

On the downside, I have realised that my mood is pretty low and my energy levels failing fast. I just wish I could be free from myself and my negative thoughts for a bit. Hard going just now.

@TimAllenMusic I genuinely don't know how to respond to this Tim. I can't help but think you're talking about someone else. If it is me, I will treasure it.

The rubbish bits of 2022 are perennial ones, only in new ways. My poor MH, and a lack of support, meant I had to drop a grade at work. I am worse off in many ways as a result. Really knocked me. Plus I got plantar fasciitis which wrecked my fitness drive.

@James_Tringham Simply superb friend, and genuinely one of the nicest and most considerate humans I've ever known. Every minute I spend with you is time very well spent.

Add likely ADHD and continual ineptitude in many things and it often feels like it's not worth it. Still, I do think I'm good at some things. Fb taste for one, and a decent friend. Making odd connections. Being open.

@James_Tringham Whenever I have to lock my front door late at night, I'm convinced a massive dog is going to burst in and bite me. This makes me rush, fumble the keys, and become increasingly panicked. Every. Fucking. Time.

I've developed an unhelpful paranoia that cars coming up behind me are assassins trying to run me down. I know on a rational level that it's lunatic; you don't need to tell me that.

Go through Led Zep's albums as they're my choice for tomorrow's #WeeklyMusicCall. I was going to have a track from each studio LP, but I'm struggling with Presence, if I'm honest. The others I'm finding it hard to choose from four or five.

I'm a huge Dylan fan, as @TimAllenMusic knows to his cost. But I reckon Bob is now laughing all the way to the bank if that deal is as big as reported. No way they're getting all that money back.
