@KayLFC05_ Contract talks cancelled, no RB or other injury replacement in Jan and Ajax approach rumours surface. He probably approached Ajax himself, given his form. He's only here because of PL win. He's gone.

This notion that Slot hasn’t been given a chance is tiring. He was left in charge despite getting destroyed 7-1 by PSV & Forest at Anfield in the space of 3 days. Since then he’s been given SEVEN months to turn things around. Nothing is changing under him, WAKE UP.
Jordan@JDaneH94

Going into next season I’ve never wanted a manager to succeed as much as I do with Slot. I genuinely mean that because there’s barely anyone willing to give him a chance which really does baffle me. Hope he shuts a lot of people up early on next season

if you have ADHD and you've been quietly googling "early onset dementia symptoms" because you keep forgetting basic words mid-sentence, it's probably not dementia. it's ADHD. it's called word retrieval issues and it's a verified symptom. you don't have a brain tumor. you have a brain. and the brain is busy.

@theliverbirdfc @NicolaVidal1 @Jayfo_LFC Slot, a proper snake, tried IMO, to organise his exit to Ajax, just like he did at AZAlk, in Dec and got caught. Hence contract talks cancelled and no RB cover in Jan. Only allowed to stay due to PL title. Edw/Hug also compromised as knew of risk.

#LFC #YNWA #SlotOut

@Corballyred Did Hug/Ed appoint Snake knowing about AZAlk sacking and AS then approached Ajax in Dec? Snake has form. This might explain the contract and confusion. It's also a massive competence issue regarding the appt and risk to LFC.

Why are journalists and pundits ignoring Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards, apart from questions about new contracts for them??? They inherited the foundations of a title-winning side from Klopp and Schmadtke, yet dismantled it in under two years. Last summer’s £440m transfer window was arguably the worst by a club in Premier League history — a massive spend that left the squad noticeably weaker. They are the main reason Arne Slot is likely to stay next season. Edwards built his reputation on the back of Klopp’s genius, while Hughes appears out of his depth and only got the job through his friendship with Edwards. They are paid millions to get these decisions right but have failed miserably and deserve far more scrutiny.

@WilsonCoxLFC If Slot hasn't been renewed then the rumours about Ajax talks in Dec may be true BUT were initiated by Snake, who has form in seeking new pastures. Sacked by AZAlk, this would be a known risk and major issue for Hughes/Edwards if repeated at LFC. Saved by PL win. CL&FO

#LFC 🔴 🚨 My opinion. I understand I haven’t got the biggest platform, so this will hardly reach the hierarchy, but I’m going to say it as it is. The club is run by Hughes and Edwards, who are full of egos. They want to keep Arne Slot not because his data is good despite a poor season — if that were the case, surely we would know which criteria he’s actually performing well in. They want full control and a yes-man head coach, and Arne Slot is one of them. The issue that won’t be seen by the public goes beyond Arne Slot’s Premier League title win. A poor season with 18 losses would be considered sackable for any coach at any club, never mind the biggest club in the country, Liverpool. Hughes and Edwards plan to leave next summer, so why are they still making these decisions? John Henry and Billy Hogan should be stepping in and saying, “No, this isn’t good enough and we aren’t getting enough from this — he’s gone.” Edwards is briefing all his little friends — like James Pearce, Ornstein, etc. — to put out the line that “we will keep him, he’s our man.” He is their man because, with basic common sense, we know they don’t want to admit they got it wrong. Change is needed from top to bottom, and it’s needed fast, or Liverpool could be in serious trouble. The club have definitely held talks with other coaches because we have been told they have by reliable people, Alonso is yet to be one of them. But Klopp wasn’t approached until he was appointed. Anyway the bottom line is I’m really unhappy and us match goers need to be as vocal as possible with our opinion on Matchday.

Exclusive 💣 Xabi Alonso is really keen on becoming the next manager of Liverpool Football Club. He’s not the type to just sit around waiting for a call, and honestly, he’s a bit surprised that no official offer has come through yet. You’d think a club legend like him would be at the top of their list, right? He’s still holding out hope that Liverpool will make a move, Chelsea is already in talks with him. It’s a classic case of “make your move before it’s too late.” Alonso’s got the pedigree, having played for Liverpool and now proving himself as a manager. It’ll be interesting to see if Liverpool steps up or if they let him slip away to their rivals. The clock's ticking!

Hopefully this is just a clever ploy by Alonso’s agent. They’ve seen the massive wave of Liverpool fans pushing for him especially after that Chelsea draw. Slot’s under serious pressure. Perfect timing to leak these Chelsea stories, force Liverpool to take notice.

There’s plenty of journo’s dining out on “Slot stays next season” for clicks for their newspapers. I think there’ll be a review in the summer where they’ll conclude they can’t continue with a dead man walking in Slot. Fan base has completely lost trust in and out of Anfield!

@A_GymGuy Something not right. Arne Snake has Hx of seeking new pastures if the environment sours eg Alkmaar. In Dec rumours re: Ajax surfaced just as calls for his head grew. Then no rt back replacement, CJ, Mo & Robbo, Harvey, Ibou. Safe only due to 'availabilitys'? He's gone.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Michael Edwards, Richard Hughes and the rest of the Liverpool hierarchy, backed by Fenway Sports Group, are preparing to continue with Arne Slot next season. Right now, they don’t appear ready to make a managerial change. Instead, the focus seems to be on signing a new winger and, most importantly, a defensive midfielder to patch the cracks in this team. As frustrating as this decision may feel to many fans, Liverpool supporters must continue backing the club through difficult moments. We can disagree with the direction, question the standards, and still stand behind the badge. “You’ll Never Walk Alone” was never built for easy seasons only.

@AdewoluAre Good managers, as they tend to be in the top leagues, even at PSG, quickly detect tactical systems. Slot developed ideas in Holland but has been found out in the PL. He's unlikely to develop new or better ones. Sometimes our talent will out, but the better teams will kill us.

Yes, Arne Slot won the Premier League, but let’s stop pretending this is the same Liverpool anymore. The fear factor is DEAD. Teams used to walk into Anfield terrified, now struggling sides come here believing they can dominate us. That says everything. This Liverpool side looks soft, passive, predictable and completely disconnected from the identity built over years. No intensity. No aggression. No aura. No mentality monsters. It’s not only the football that fans don’t recognise anymore, it’s the entire soul of the club disappearing in front of our eyes. Liverpool were once hunters. Now they play like a team begging opponents for respect. Big questions need asking, because standards at this club are collapsing fast.
