On 09-Apr 1942, a bomb struck the Mosta Rotunda in Malta. Unlike most of the 6700 tons of bombs dropped on Malta during WW2, this one didn't explode, a miracle as the church was full. The bare patch left of center is where the bomb entered, and a replica is on display.
