@romser_notbased @plkatv I couldn’t care less if they gave other classes grip, as long as dk got a real raid buff. They already broke the sanctity of dk being the grip class when they made sigil of chains anyway. It would be nice QOL for more classes to have grips

Why would you want a buff like arcane intellect that's extremely useful on every encounter ever designed when you could have a niche "raid buff" like grip that is completely useless unless the dev's specifically design a use for it in each fight?#GripIsNOTaRaidBuff

@WarcraftDevs @Blizzard_Ent DKs have asked for a *real* raid buff for ages. Pls listen to the player base instead of forcing a failed vision onto us. Don't put yourselves in a box for raid design and make dk live & die on specific fight design. #GripIsNOTaRaidBuff #DeleteWounds

@AlekKwiat @knives_am @maddl29 Adding some kind of kiting decay could work but its not as simple of an issue to fix as people make it out to be. Can't really make stacking bleed kite mechanics for tanks if they lose threat when they kite for instance.

@AlekKwiat @knives_am @maddl29 But "just put a threat 10000000x threat modifier on tanks" *is* very simple and 1 dimensional. Can't really blame me for pointing out the flaw in an idea that wasn't fleshed out. And even if tanks can tank large pulls, they could always kite larger ones if they dont lose threat

A great way to move in this direction is guaranteed fresh meat procs. It wouldn't increase damage in recklessness window but would help elevate outside of that. FM RNG hasn't felt great anyway. A rune or 2pc 2.5 bonus giving nerfed deathwish w near full uptime could be cool 4/4

Warrior still gets gapped in 95th percentile Mythic 20m fights. Even on the short ones. I think the vast majority of warrior players prefer a more stable damage profile. Even warriors in dad guilds could have a chance to shine if playing well. (3/4)

@Zirene First of all awesome job with Regicide, can't wait to use that weapon, its gonna be so sick. Can you give some insight on what the vision is for warrior balance? SOD design seems to double down on burst, but it often barely even beats more stable classes on 60 sec (1/4)

I think class balance in SoD PvE is severely underappreciated. Most people just look at the weekly wowhead chart but I think it's been extremely misleading lately @wowclassicdevs @Zirene

@TimKend80852562 @wowclassicdevs @Zirene now that i checked 95th percentile it has an even more narrow difference between the top real spec and the bottom real spec (absolute top for each class has crazy outliers in mage and warrior) pic is 95th 20 man mythic and is only a 12% difference between enhance and melee hunter

@Reaverax @wowclassicdevs @Zirene I wasn’t trying to argue to you that the balance is particularly bad. I was just correcting the assertion that the top logs are any decent indication of the balance in the real world. They are extremely volatile and unreliable. This is def one of the more balanced phases.

@Reaverax @wowclassicdevs @Zirene And while I admit the heroic statistics shouldn't be used, that is a new development. Until this most recent post by wowhead, mythic 20 man statistics were used for wowhead ranking posts. And mythic 95 percentile 20 man is a much, much better representation of class performance.

@Reaverax @wowclassicdevs @Zirene Clearly you're not paying attention then. Lots of cheese is happening, waiting 10 minutes for gnomer helms, dragging trash to bosses to pre stack haste from mushrooms before bosses by leaving a single ghoul alive etc. is all occurring in the top logs. (1/2)

@Reaverax @wowclassicdevs @Zirene No, it doesn’t. That’s a poor interpretation. Top parses are about cheese and kill times. It means very little in regard to balance for the game as a whole. Performance at 95th percentile is a more useful metric for how a class does in an optimized but realistic raid.

At 95th percentile in mythic war is mostly only above meme specs so I think that's a fair assessment.

I assume you're trying to gather meaning from my words I am not intending? I was asserting that their Raid performance was 'okay' - as in not good or bad, just 'okay' and asserted that much earlier than metrics were available because I know they are middle of the pack until fight time goes down and their performance goes up with a larger % of the fight having their cooldowns stacked.
