My neighbor was outside mowing the lawn **shirtless in broad daylight** like we don’t live in a neighborhood where families and kids are walking around all day. And I’m sorry, but when did “basic decency” become controversial? I get it. It’s hot. Everyone’s uncomfortable. But living around other people means having a little awareness of your surroundings. This isn’t some private field in the middle of nowhere. It’s a residential neighborhood. People are outside with their kids, walking their dogs, coming home from work, just trying to exist without being forced into someone else’s “I do what I want” moment. Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I don’t think putting on a shirt while doing yard work in public-facing spaces is some impossible request. At this point, it feels like basic boundaries have completely disappeared and everyone acts shocked when someone says, “Hey, maybe think about the people around you.” Am I overreacting, or is this actually weird?
