The last time @Wolves played @Rovers at home to start the season, they were promoted (1982-83). The last time they played @pnefc away in their first away game, they were promoted (2013-14). Omens.

Ar @WBA, where the home fans have gone through an early repertoire of anti-@Wolves songs celebrating their rivals' relegation, 'Slap a Dingle', 'Wolverhampton we're waiting for you', 'Dingles get battered everywhere they go' and 'W***y Wanderers' among them.

So the man who took @Wolves into the @premierleague in 2018 is the one who relegates them after @WestHam's point at @CPFC tonight.

And to think today is the anniversary when @Wolves were dubbed 'Champions of the world'...

So sad - and typical of this woeful season - that after such a battling performance at leaders Arsenal that @Wolves now have two outright club records. Most league defeats in a row - 9 Moat league games without a win - 20.

Wolves also equalled their longest losing run of eight league games, set between December 1981 and February 1982.

@Wolves' 4-1 defeat to @ManUtd equals an unwanted club record of 19 league games without a win. It's the worst sequence in more than 40 years, since May 1985.

It looks really bad for @Wolves right now, and I totally get the narrative about @Fosun_Intl and Pereira with so much anger around. But that performance deserved far better than the outcome. What is worrying is the cheap goals given away. Switched off for the 2nd and 3rd goals.
