After months of trying to mind my own business, I finally contacted the HOA. This is what my neighbor wears while mowing the lawn almost every weekend. Before anyone says it—yes, she's on her own property and can wear whatever she wants. But we live in a neighborhood where kids ride bikes, families spend time outside, and houses sit right on top of each other. At some point, doesn't living in a community come with at least a little consideration for the people around you? I kept telling myself to just ignore it. Eventually, though, it started feeling like everyone else was expected to adjust while she did whatever she wanted. Maybe I'm old-fashioned. Maybe I'm overreacting. But am I really wrong for thinking there's a difference between being comfortable and drawing attention to yourself in a family neighborhood?
