@Harri21263Steve @robert_lyman Your questions are entirely right but the answers are complex. I go into each in great detail in the book

@robert_lyman @TimPBouverie Because he was allowed to and enabled. Blind eyes were turned. (The allies knew mass shootings were taking place). Russia was not nuclear armed until four years after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. So ‘he could’ because he was allowed. My question is ‘why’?

Really excited to share the paperback design for ‘Allies at War’: an account of how Churchill and Roosevelt, despite myriad disagreements, made the world a safer place by combatting unprovoked aggression and creating a global system based on international law.
