That’s not how it works. Solar panels don’t “generate extra heat” beyond the sunlight already hitting that surface. They just convert part of that incoming energy into electricity. Typical panels turn ~20% into electricity. The rest is reflected or becomes heat, which would have happened anyway on that surface. A dark roof actually absorbs a similar or greater amount of heat. So it’s not “3x more heat than energy” as some new burden. It’s capturing useful energy from sunlight that was already there. Simple physics, just often framed the wrong way.
