to each their own - feel free to just play nine
me? here's my ideal golf day (this assumes wife and kids are out of town)
7am - arrive at club. Locker room. Personal time(morning download)
7:15am - sit down for breakfast
7:50am - change shoes. apply sunscreen. stretch
8:05am - range
8:25am - practice green
8:35am - tee off
12:10pm - walk off 18 and settle up
12:12pm - beers with the fellas
12:45pm - shower
1pm - lunch
2:30pm - post lunch beer and cigar
4pm - get ready to leave but you run into the mid day groups coming off 18 so you decide to stay for one to catch up
5pm - well, it's basically dinner time so might as well stay to eat
7pm - sunset on the patio with wine and cigar
post 8:30pm - play it by ear

I’ll say it. Golf is way too long. It’s absurd playing a game for 4.5 hours. What sport does this? Soccer 90 min. Most sports 2 hours, maybe 3. They need to build 12 hole courses and be done with it… anyways. I played well for someone who rarely plays.

We’re planning another USA trip this fall!🇺🇸 It’s going to be a road trip with college football as the main focus, but we’re also planning to check out plenty of other sports and unique American events. The idea for this trip actually came from our visits to a few colleges on the last trip. Everyone told us how crazy it gets on gamedays, so now we want to experience it ourselves. Now we need your expertise: Which colleges should we visit? What games are interesting? And what other events or activities (also non sporting related) are worth checking out in September/October? So far we have these on our list: - Oktoberfest in Helen, GA - Texas State Fair - Breeders' Cup in Kentucky

"Deep, just competitive depth. This has almost become a drinking game. I say competitive depth over and over again. But it really is who we are."
"When I wake up November 10th last year and we have 6 teams that can still compete in the Conference Championship game, you have competitive depth."
"I look at those stats that you compared it to other conferences and number of wins. Our coaches said it all day today, this is a tough ass league to win. It just is. So when you have six teams in November that are in the hunt. It says a lot about our competitive depth."
"The second thing is, our teams will schedule. If I could talk to the college football playoff selection committee and they said: 'what's one thing we should pay more attention to?' I would say how we schedule. We're not afraid to line up and play against anyone."
