@andre_blu You as a developer still have a responsibility on your content/layout. We build our templates to be as adaptable as possible.

@Timan25 It's not about this app. You can see this behavior not adjusting correctly in many cases. When I come across more examples, I can share them. Also, I shouldn't need to worry about every component on UT. Thank you

@andre_blu Bug filed to make it respond better when those cards get thinner. That said, this app was built for the Office Hours, we never really expected worry about responsive styling, and forced the columns.

@kevinthyssen Easiest way to explain Iris (my personal perspective/opinion), take a the branding/accessible colors from RW, but keep the polish/stableness of Vita. mix the to together and this is what you get. It also helps hint at future direction ;)

@Timan25 I really like the new Iris style! After years with UT, this will add a fresh vibe to existing applications. Also love the view transitions in App Builder. 👍🏻

@andre_blu @plamen_9 @moreaux_louis Thats the underlying advantage and disavantage of Oracle APEX. The developer have too much control over the markup (templates), and how they can construct any item or region variation on a page. Building that in a supportable manner, means certain things seem hacky.

I put together a short blog post on what I think is very common pattern in APEX applications - a form, consisting of an item (Text, Select, etc.) and a button. The APEX responsive classes could help build something that is very close, but I'm missing an out-of-the-box functionality that makes the items take all of the remaining space. Would be happy to see any suggestions on how to do it in a smarter way 👍 #orclAPEX blog.apexapplab.dev/apex-responsiv…

@plamen_9 There is the item container template you can use to make this easier. We also have some more flex related layout stuff coming in the future.

@Matt_Mulvaney @andre_blu Iris will evolve overtime, I can’t go into detail on specifics though. It is the new default over Vita but it technically is still Vita / UT under the covers.

@Timan25 @andre_blu Is Iris going to be the style to use longer term, or will there be something else coming along to replace it? i.e. will Iris get better and better? or is it an interim style?

The new 'Iris' Theme Style in #orclapex 26.1 will be the default theme style for new apps. Here is what it looks like:

@andre_blu @Matt_Mulvaney Easiest way to describe it. Take Vita, use the Redwood brand colors, but don't go crazy with all the other Redwood flare. Gets you Iris, it also simplifies theme roller settings, but keeps a clean looking UI that feels fresher.

@shakeeb, in region template Standard (#orclapex 21.2) you can choose heading level (h1-h6). It seems it's always overridden in CSS and set to default header font size:
