Codex App is being developed at lightning speed
few things are still bugging me:
→ stop asking me when closing the app
→ let me open multiple terminals
→ setup scripts insufficient for worktrees for now
→ make it easier to go from subagent to main thread
→ don't show "No threads" (takes unnecessary space)
→ always show limits (not just in the menu thing)
→ streamline some clicks (instant push/commit for example)
but overall, g to the g

@Timan25 @plamen_9 @moreaux_louis I don’t see anything special there or anything you shouldn’t expect when developing simple pages and layouts. I acknowledge it must not be easy, but it should be a priority.

@andre_blu @plamen_9 @moreaux_louis Thats the underlying advantage and disavantage of Oracle APEX. The developer have too much control over the markup (templates), and how they can construct any item or region variation on a page. Building that in a supportable manner, means certain things seem hacky.

I put together a short blog post on what I think is very common pattern in APEX applications - a form, consisting of an item (Text, Select, etc.) and a button.
The APEX responsive classes could help build something that is very close, but I'm missing an out-of-the-box functionality that makes the items take all of the remaining space.
Would be happy to see any suggestions on how to do it in a smarter way 👍

Codex GPU fleet is still melting, team is working day (and night) to keep up. We’re seeing stability in sight for later this evening.

This codex issue is now fully resolved and stable for the last couple of hours.
You have come to expect it, but yes, that means we will be reseting rate limits in a bit. Enjoy.

Happy Monday, there are reports of codex hanging for some users where it is not responsive after sending a request and the team is investigating.

@romainhuet @shubhh_hum Hi, keep the Plan button visible at all times and add a clear way to go back if a step is skipped.
Also, when limits run out during an important project, it should be much easier to upgrade the plan or buy extra credits (Business). A $50 or $100 tier would be great. Tks

@thatjeffsmith @Oracle @OracleSQLDev Maybe it's a bug on your side @JaysonHanes because it logs me out and I lose everything I was working on in the worksheet. I'm using OCI APEX Service and I only have SDW to use. The auto redirect to login page after timeout is also an unnecessary pain @thatjeffsmith

@andre_blu @Oracle @OracleSQLDev i would have 2 tabs, and in your sdw tab be authenticated from a sdw session - i would be curious to know if the cookies are expiring at a different rate
SDW is fairly liberal here, i'm not getting timeouts like i would be browsing my online banking or airline bookings
