@TimelessDoctors This has been my most anticipated piece of Who I have waited for years now. More so than the actual show. Well done to Stuart and his team. I can not wait.

A Thread: The 4 parts of The Timeless Doctors each feel very different. Part 1 is “The Spectacle” with action set-pieces, battles, explosions, multiple Doctors, Daleks, Sontarans & Cybermen. Accessible to casual viewers, I have no doubt it will be the one to have the most views.

@Q_Review Indeed, when I graduated in graphic design in 1990 I'd learned how to hand-draw letterforms, calligraphy, cutting & pasting with scapels & cow gum, a real labour-intensive skillset. Now it is all Word and Photoshop and all the magic and skill has gone. Such is the march of time.

@TimelessDoctors I must admit that I am so nostalgic for days when a shot like this would involve sophisticated clip sourcing, editing and composition. I'd watch your behind-the-scenes videos of how you did those effects so often. There's a kind of magic there that AI has robbed us of. :/

@Tales_TimeLord For me the script comes first - I want people to enjoy the story rather than worry about how it was made. But that's just my dream, I know in reality fans will actually spend 90% of the time analysing the images and only 10% enjoying the story. But that's OK 👍

@TimelessDoctors I like watching footage of the Doctors, and guessing where they came from and how you faked new shots from them I suppose I'm saying, at that runtime, I guess alot of this material will be invented. It's only reasonable

@Tales_TimeLord Is that a concern? Which way round? Concerned we've used too much of the show's footage, or found footage from elsewhere? Or that we've made too much ourselves? (I confess, of all the things I thought fans would worry about, that really wasn't one of them!)

@TimelessDoctors I hear you. Things expand A little concerned asto how you've made this much material, and how much may be actual show footage given that fact, but I will absolutely be here for it. The trailers are amazing

@Tales_TimeLord It just kept growing. Back in 2019 it was meant to be a 15-minute remake of The Ten Doctors Part 1, but now it runs over two-and-a-half hours, with each part being 50 minutes.
