Dad had to record a 20 sec video over Christmas for my brothers 40th as he lives in Oz, it took over 7 minutes because he couldn’t get past the word “Hello” without cracking up, if you need cheering up or just want a good laugh, watch it.🤣

An idea: 700,000 children don’t have access to laptops when home schooling during the lockdown. So if you have an old laptop or tablet in good condition - give it to your local school to give to a child who desperately needs it. It may be the only way they can learn right now.

Teachers love teaching. They also love being alive.

I have actually just signed up to a cyber security course. It is just too hard to be a musician right now. Despite all the Fatima controversy I actually think cyber security sounds pretty intriguing. Not as much fun as viola but hey 🤷‍♀️

@LawCheryl I've had a few where I'm on stage and look down and I'm holding a pencil not a flute. Also trying to abseil/bungee jump onto stage because I'm in the wrong bit of the hall. Ah anxiety, making nights exciting!

I had one of those gig nightmares last night. I got to 7.15 and realised I didn't have any concert clothes. But at least I found the stage, wasn't wearing PJs,was playing the right instrument + didn't spend the entire rehearsal on the stairs looking for the right floor 😆

@LawCheryl My mate, guest leading Opera North opened violin case 15 mins before perf, no glasses😱. Dashed to Tk Maxx bought off pegs, slipped on way back, split trousers. Full perf bum hanging out, 3rd act kid spilt drink from cup dripping down onto him during solo. Really happened

I learned today that our driver for the #3DaysNC500 in support of @bowelcanceruk, is no longer able to support us - #ItsOkNotToBeOk If we can't find a driver we'll be carrying our kit, again 🙈 It's not my preference but 'the show must go on'... All applications considered 🤣

About time. All that illegal drunken partying in parks and secret clubbing by the 50-70 year olds has got out of hand. If you see anyone out in the street with unripped jeans or comfortable shoes call the police immediately. We can shut this down.

Today @MattHancock tried to claim lockdown was imposed on 16th March. That is a lie. We had to wait until the 23rd. Doctors like me were distraught, desperate. We knew the govt was sleepwalking into disaster. Trying to rewrite history after 45k deaths is truly outrageous.
