📣 UPDATE - I had a chat with our friend this evening. He desperately needs the money but didn't want to sell his birthday gift. Understandable. I suggested we sell it, I'll send him the cash and we'll pull a gold pack instead, for him to keep as a birthday momento. That way, he can get back on his feet whilst still keeping something from the community, to remember that we're here for him (and others). The card sold for $609.12, so I sent him that this evening. I will then pull the gold pack tomorrow. Some extra donations came in after I'd already pulled the card last night, so I'll send him that as well. I'm honoured to be able to help people like this, and will continue to use my platform to do so. Thanks to the amazing @gamestop @powerpacks community for getting involved and choosing kindness. 🥹💜

Very disappointing and odd to see Alain get so many votes against, compared to the other directors. If you don't know a lot about the guy, abstain, sure - but to vote against is very odd behaviour, especially when the others got so many votes for. Alain owns more GameStop stock than the other directors, apart from Ryan. Him and RC are also the only ones that work consistently for and with the company, busting their asses. Alain, you were a STRONG YES for me. I respect and appreciate the work you do for our company. Thank you. 🫡🙏

It's actually worse than that - if they just outright censored the discussions by removing the posts, that would be obvious & people would complain. Allowing the posts to stay but suppressing them in search maintains the illusion of not being censored while visibility is just severely negatively impacted without anyone really realizing it.

Checking in on the new eBay community forum & noticed something strange. 👀 The onsite search claims there are no results for "GameStop" - but a Google site search pulls up multiple links, all of which are still active if you click through. Interesting...🤔 $EBAY $GME
