@sciencegirl It is incorrect to say that bone rubs on bone; even poor quality joint fluid keeps joint surfaces apart through hydraulic action. The pain mostly originates from the joint capsule and subchondral bone. Simply ‘re-growing’ cartilage may not necessarily be a solution.

Scientists may have discovered a way to help joints repair themselves in just weeks. In early animal research, a slow-release treatment was injected directly into damaged joints. Rather than simply reducing pain, it appears to activate the body’s own cells to rebuild cartilage and bone. Osteoarthritis affects hundreds of millions of people worldwide. It develops when the protective cartilage in joints wears down, causing stiffness, pain, and eventually bone rubbing against bone. At present, there is no cure. Most treatments focus on symptom relief or joint replacement. This new method takes a different approach. The injected material forms a supportive structure inside the joint, encouraging the body to regenerate lost tissue instead of just managing the damage. Researchers hope it could not only slow the disease but potentially reverse it. So far, these findings are limited to animal studies and have not yet undergone peer review. Further research is required before human trials, which could begin within the next 18 months. For a condition long considered irreversible, this development could mark an important step forward. The Oaks at Neutral Bay, an iconic and well known pub, has sold for $140m. What? Sure, it’s popular and all the rest but there is no way I can see to justify that price. It attracts way less patrons than the 80s and 90s. I have no idea how it could turn a profit for that money.

@Wolfpackwwfc The squad has improved and playing with some enthusiasm. He’s done what he can with the players he’s got. It’s not like Foson have handed him the open chequebook.

@powelly_wwfc The team needs an improvement in the quality of player. Mane is a find. We need more. The manager can only use the cattle he’s got. You’re right about Fosun.

Normally I'd say fuck Edwards off after that, but who the fuck comes in next? The only way out of this shit now is for Fosun to sell up and fuck off. Sell to someone who cares about football and preferably with an affiliation to Wolverhampton.

On this day 14 years ago, Novak Djokovic defeated Rafa Nadal in the longest Grand Slam final ever. A match so brutal that neither player could stand in the end. Unforgettable.

This 75 year old who'd been blind since birth suddenly regained his sight after using DMSO to cure sinusitis. DMSO has been repeatedly shown to heal eye issues medicine still can't solve like blindness and macular degeneration along with eliminating floaters and cataracts by it's unique affinity for concentrating within the eye, restoring both blood flow and drainage, rapidly eliminating inflammation, refolding the degenerative proteins which characterize many eye disorders so they can be eliminated and reviving damaged tissue so it can resume working—even after being dormant for 75 years. In fact, Murray's case is not unique, and as I show in the article below, many similar ones were documented but then essentially forgotten, as were the myriad of other challenging eye conditions which rapidly disappeared following DMSO use, and still remain "incurable" fifty years later.🧵

@wolvesfancast It won’t make any difference who manages this team in the short term. May as well hang on to someone who may be able to develop a squad. This short term thinking does not help. Has it helped Spurs or Forrest lately?

How many league games without a point can we go without Rob Edwards' job becoming untenable? I'm told he's a great bloke. Good intentions. Loves the club. Handsome, if you're that way inclined. But when do we get the reset button out - again?
