@ElizabethAHintz The snippets of the article in the thread are the tame bits. It gets wild. Full work compares positionality statements to letting researchers disguise financial conflicts of interest. Even as a post-structuralist not sold on positionality statements, these are really bad takes.

March 12 ended up being the same day Broadway shut down. I spent all night on March 11 canceling my trip. But now, I'm back in NYC to celebrate (distract from?) ongoing dissertation work at Studio 54 with Caroline, or Change!

Back in 2020, I was supposed to fly to NYC for spring break. I was going to see some shows and celebrate surviving (most of) my first year of PhD coursework. I was supposed to fly out on March 12.

@dr_ledbetter You are not alone! It makes me oddly suspicious when things in R don't take at least a second to process. Sometimes it feels entirely too quick on the draw. Also! Longer processes typically means you get more data to play with. :)

Maybe I'm weird, but there's something I find strangely satisfying about procedures (e.g., Internet data gathering) in R that take a long time to complete...
