Victory Parkway in front of XU. Here's an AI image of a change that increases student safety, slows traffic and is nicer for everyone. We already have this exact setup in other locations we can benchmark, so why should it take years for a change like this to happen?

@still_hustling @bradleywthomas You try to say there's something wrong in democratically run cities and Dems are why poverty is so high, but I point to republican run rural areas where poverty is high and suddenly it's not about parties any more it's about something else, you move the goalposts.

You’ll never convince me there isn’t demand for at least one neighborhood like this somewhere in the United States.

@TimothyBoland1 @bradleywthomas What industry is in Brown County? What industry has always been in Brown County? Is P&G headquartered there? Is OpenAI planning a move to Brown County? Are you a moron?

Brown county he has nothing going on, pretty much never has. The City of Cincinnati is a huge economic center and has been for like 200 years. Yet we still have an atrocious poverty rate. Democrats are handed wealth and a huge engine that should lead to prosperity and they ruin it.

@bradleywthomas Right, because those have been the economic engines for the states for over 200 years in most cases. What’s that have to do with Democrats? I can give you a bunch of reasons why they’re ruining everything right now.

@U_arctos Plastic signs held on by nylon electric ties? A permanent sign would need to be much more robustly made and mounted. @wassonway is this legit?

Culdesac’s tweet (“we got laughed out of the room, now room is coming to us”) captures a reversal that is a feature of so many great stories. What began as something dismissed, even ridiculed, returns as something sought after. The arc moves from dismissal to validation, from impossibility to demand. That shift goes beyond rhetoric, marking a change in how an idea (walkable development) is perceived, and more importantly, in how it is acted upon.

7 years ago, we got laughed out of the room. Now, leaders from all over the country are visiting Culdesac Tempe asking, "How can I bring this to my city?"
