@TimCowlishaw A healthy Stars squad is closer to winning a cup right now than the Avalanche. They have the size and heavy play style it takes to survive the grind. You’re close.

@sportsahal @PeteBlackburn Agreed. Jackets beating Tampa should top this list for years. That Lightning team felt like a lock
English

@PeteBlackburn I think CBJ beating the presidents trophy winners in 4 games in the FIRST round might edge out this one. Vegas just won a cup and their center depth and D-core is just awesome. Cool that torts is apart of ‘19 and ‘26
English

@SparkleTindi Yes you can. And they will. This is the NHL, it happens all the time. See Cassidy
English

@rockiesghost @Spence0202 Those two are the heavy standard in the West, no argument. Avs mostly have the big players to match. What they’re missing is the system.
English

@Timp_17 @Spence0202 Compare them to Vegas and Dallas, they are not.
English

@b_acker70 Because he won a cup long before his 13th season.. what are you even saying bro lol

@bufnyy161st @SportsSturm Outworked 3 times by Dallas and mopped twice by Vegas. He has to go
English

@SportsSturm getting fired when your 2 best players got injured seems a little extreme doesn’t it?
English

@rockiesghost @Spence0202 They got bigger. Now they need a coach that can unlock their players and make them play bigger.
English

@Spence0202 #AVS need to get bigger, don’t know how but they do.
English

@Blutman27 Necas’ 8 year deal hasn’t even kicked in yet lol, as much as Avs fans would like him gone after this series, get used to him. That Mikko trade will haunt them for years
English

Great series for one side with VGK/Avalanche. I feel bad for MacKinnon, Makar, Landy, and Colorado fans. I really don’t know where you go from here. Moving on from Bednar? Idk yet… the roster just isn’t big enough, tough enough, physical enough imo. Necas might have to go
Hope Nathan gets another Cup one day, hope it’s in Colorado. #SoMuchRespect
English

@NHL_Muse Nah, everyone's overreacting. They should extend him in a move of good faith. Would probably make the whole team play with more trust. That's the right thing to do.
English

@marcantoine006 @NHL_Muse There is a reoccurring theme of Bednar teams getting dominated by the heavier Western teams. It’s time to shake it up
English

@jamesmerilatt make drastic roster changes first. start with a sign and trade of Makar. get a few draft picks plus free up $16+ million of space.
English

@Nmartell97 @KArnoldffk @puckempire Also, it was not so easy for Georgiev or Annie in the past when the Avs also dominated possession time and had a mostly similar d core in front of them.
English

@Timp_17 @KArnoldffk @puckempire Are we watching the same games? The goals have been brutal also it’s easy to have a good save % and GAA when your team dominates time of possession and per money puck hes rated as the 20th ranked goalie in the league which isn’t very impressive for leading in save % and gaa
English

@Nmartell97 @KArnoldffk @puckempire I’ll meet you half way here. Wedgewood was not great in game 3. However, he is not the primary reason they are down 3-0 in this series, and if you have any puck sense you know this too.
English

@Nmartell97 @KArnoldffk @puckempire Lazy reply. Wedgewood led the league in save % and GAA in the regular season. If you think this 3-0 hole is on the goaltending, you’re wrong.
English

There is so much to unpack and figure out after this series, but Avs fans cant just say fire Bednar without an actual, better, alternative. Not just any person who is not named Bednar can come in and get better playoff results. That's not realistic, nor is it smart. #GoAvsGo
English

@KArnoldffk @puckempire Why? The front office has made every possible change to shake up this team, at what point does it fall on Bednar? His finesse scheme and mellow demeanor is clearly holding this team back
English

@puckempire I don’t get how fast management turns on the coach. I don’t care for the Avs but getting rid of Bednar would be a mistake.
English

What's not talked about enough is how Torts abandoned the Seattle Torrent to join the Vegas Golden Knights playoff run
Fronk@fronk_seravalli
PWHL Seattle has found their guy. They just announced that John Tortorella will be the franchise’s first head coach.
