1/4 Mariupol survived the siege, only for Russia to begin stealing it apartment by apartment, at least the ones still standing. Occupation authorities are now reportedly evicting Ukrainians from homes they still live in, so the properties can be handed to Russian settlers and state workers. Many of the older generation simply disappear. I know exactly what that feels like. Russia stole our home in Mariupol too. #RussiaIsATerroristState

The question hanging over every classified briefing, every military operation, every strategic plan is this: does this end up on Putin’s desk by morning? If Trump’s answer is Russia, and his behaviour suggests it is, then NATO’s most sensitive secrets are not secrets at all. They are gifts. Every troop position, every contingency plan, every back-channel communication becomes material that could be passed to Moscow by a man who is compromised sits at the top of the Western alliance.
