Women were excluded from clinical trials until 1993.
It took an act of Congress to include women in medical research. Since then, we’ve been fighting to bridge the gap. But, this administration is now taking us backward by cutting NIH funding.
This Women’s Health Week shows we need to keep pushing forward.

Did you know that if you put 100 black ants and 100 red ants together in a jar, they usually coexist peacefully? For decades, New Mexicans have been told to blame Republicans and the @NewMexicoGOP for the problems facing our state.
But here’s the reality:
@NMDEMS have controlled the New Mexico Legislature for approximately 95% of the last 100 years — including continuous control of at least one chamber since 1931.
They controlled the budgets. They controlled education policy. They controlled public safety laws. They controlled healthcare expansion. They controlled economic policy.
Yet New Mexico continues to rank near the bottom nationally in crime, child well-being, education, poverty, and healthcare.
At some point, accountability matters.
You cannot govern a state for nearly a century and still blame the minority party for the results.
This isn’t about party loyalty. It’s about outcomes.
New Mexico deserves leadership focused on results, not excuses.
