It proved they were lying and not credible, and all of Jennifer McCabe's otherwise damaging testimony against Karen was viewed in that light by the jurors. Since the trial the following law enforcement officers were either demoted, fired, reprimanded, or retired as a result of the gigantic spotlight that was put on their behavior - Michael Proctor, Yuri Bukhenik, Brian Tully, Sean Goode, Kevin Albert, Helena Rafferty, Paul Gallagher. "It was all for views, shock value, getting people energized and hyped up for it. None of those things have anything to do with the outcome of this trial." Views, shock value, and getting people energized had everything to do with the outcome of the trial. It was the reason $1.1 million was paid, which allowed the defense to call very expensive experts for 2 trials and multiple pretrial hearings, who were ultimately the ones who convinced jurors that John wasn't hit by a car. Without the views and shock value no one was going to care. They are charging me with witness intimidation because I was too effective in getting justice for Karen Read, and refusing to remain silent about the coverup of John O'Keefe's murder.
