@BashFCfans ...one more thing.. 12 defeats on the run, a three hour drive and still a good (and highly visible) turnout from our fans.. in good voice too. We must be mad 🤪

@BashFCfans Good team performance. Agree re MOM, Finley was excellent. Thought Luke Sheehy looked good too. Harvey, Ieuan & JP at their best. Exmouth's penalty was poor, but credit to Oscar for waiting and making the save look easy.

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT Bashley Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Wayne Crutcher as our new First Team Manager. Wayne joins us from Christchurch F.C, bringing with him experience as a player and a manager, passion, and a strong understanding of the non-league game. He steps into the role at an important time for the club, as we continue our fight to remain a competitive force in the Southern Football League. 🗣 Wayne Crutcher on his appointment: “I’m excited to get going. It’s not going to be easy, but that’s a challenge I’m ready for. The aim is clear — to keep Bashley in the Southern League. We need everyone pulling together — players, staff, volunteers and supporters. If we stick together and work hard, we give ourselves every chance.” #upthebash

@BashleyFootball Typically classy statement from Jack. An excellent manager and coach. Results have clearly not been great but there’s been so many off field distractions he has had to contend with. Surprised by the decision made, and would like to thank both Jack and Lee and wish them well 💛🖤

Club Statement – Bashley FC Bashley FC can confirm the departure of our First Team Manager Jack Williamson & Assistant Manager Lee Bradford. Bashley FC would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Jack & Lee for the professionalism, integrity, and commitment they have shown throughout thier time at the club. Jack & Lee have conducted themselves with the utmost respect and dedication during a particularly challenging period in the club’s history, and their efforts have never gone unnoticed. They have worked tirelessly on behalf of the players and the football club as a whole. We thank Jack & Lee for everything they have given to Bashley FC and wish the m every success in thier next roles and future endeavours. Statement from Jack To the Bash fans, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the incredible support you have shown me over the past two years. It has been a true privilege to serve this football club and its supporters. This evening, I was informed by the committee of their decision to relieve me of my duties as First Team Manager. While I am naturally disappointed, I fully respect the decision and sincerely wish the club every success for the remainder of the season. I truly hope the team achieves its objective of retaining its status. To describe this season as a rollercoaster would be an understatement. We have faced significant challenges, including changes in leadership, substantial budget reductions, and the loss of key players. Despite this turbulence, I am proud that we continued to provide stability for the squad and remained competitive in every fixture. While results have not reflected the standards expected at this football club, I leave knowing that I gave everything in pursuit of the performances and outcomes we all desperately wanted. I wish the club nothing but the very best moving forward. Kind regards, Jack #upthebash

@BashFCfans Bit harsh but would remind the players who commented how lucky they are to get compensated for their "sacrifices". This is not true for most sports. I have played with and against Olympic gold medalists who never got a penny.

@BashFCfans Enough of this "thank you for your efforts" crap Lew, we are still in a fight against relegation with some winnable games coming up. Sure Winchester pay more but how much have we paid you over the years. Thanks for nothing Lew, I hoped for better from you.

Thanks for all the help over the last few months, James. 🟡⚫️ The bigger picture is quite worrying. We’ve lost an awful lot of volunteers and the club seems to be drifting. A new chairman is a must and without Tina / Liam we’d be deeper in the mud. Up the bash 🦌

Club Statement – James Ellis bashleyfootball.co.uk/club-statement… Bashley Football Club can confirm that James Ellis has departed the club. We place on record our deepest thanks to James for the exceptional leadership, resilience and personal commitment he has shown during his time at Bashley FC. James joined the club as Director of Football at a point when Bashley was facing an immediate and very real threat to its future. It rapidly became evident that his role would extend far beyond the responsibilities traditionally associated with that title. At a time of significant instability, James became a driving force across the entire football club - providing leadership, operational direction and hands-on support wherever it was required. During one of the most challenging periods in Bashley’s history, he assumed wide-ranging responsibilities to help safeguard the club’s continuity. From stabilising key areas of the club and supporting players and staff, to helping navigate serious operational and financial pressures, James consistently stepped forward to ensure the club remained active, competitive and moving towards a more secure footing. His leadership, determination and tireless work ethic were instrumental in keeping the club together at a time when its future was far from certain. It is no exaggeration to say that the scale of his contribution played a significant role in preserving Bashley Football Club during a period of genuine risk. James leaves the club having made an extraordinary and lasting impact, and with the sincere gratitude and respect of everyone connected with Bashley FC. James, you will be greatly missed, and we thank you for the integrity, professionalism and care you have shown throughout your time here. Everyone at Bashley Football Club wishes you every success for the future. #Upthebash

@BashleyFootball Bishops Cleeve clearly the better team, some good individual performances from Bash, notably Oscar (outstanding), Tom, Ieuan and Brad. Dreadful cross wind made control very difficult.

@RyansfcRyan What, after Boris (what pandemic ?), and Liz the lettuce, how about Doctor Death "eat out to help out" Sunak. Or anybody sanctioning Brexit. Or how about Cameron, who bottled out and allowed a brexit vote, then ran away from the consequences.....
